At the end of the evening just over £400 had been raised towards the restoration fund. 9th June 2007 Staple Fitzpaine The choir were invited back to Staple Fitpaine in June 2007 to again sing at St Peters Church. The tower restoration work had been finished and this concert was organised as part of the celebrations to mark the completion and also to continue with the church fund raising activities. The choir again received a very warm welcome and the fine June evening showed the church off well. The excellent acoustics made it possible for the capacity audience to enjoy the strong and vibrant singing of the ladies who gave a versatile programme. The ladies on this occasion were supported by guest accompanist Howell Price

5th and 6th July 2008 Leigh on Sea
The choir travelled to Leigh on Sea on the 4-6th July 2008 and performed with the Leigh Orpheus Male Voice Choir (click here to visit their website) on Saturday 5th July at the Salvation Army Temple in Hadleigh. They were received with enthusiastic applause from a capacity audience.

(Choirs at rehearsal before the concert)
The choir's programme included the popular composition by Swansea's own John Davies 'I'm Going Home To Swansea Town' which included the prologue that he had written specially for the choir.
Karl Jenkins 'Adiemus' with its pipe and tribal drum effect, played by Lynda and Ian Richards respectively, received rapturous applause. This was a very moving performance of a complex and demanding piece of music.
On Sunday morning the choir sang at a service at the Avenue Baptist Church, Westcliff.
